Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1Nairobi - Amboseli
Leave Nairobi in the morning and drive to Amboseli National Park and begin game drive on your way to your safari lodge or camp for check-in and lunch. Afternoon safari game drive around Amboseli National Park. With some luck you get great animal pictures with Mount Kilimanjaro in the background. Dinner & Overnight at your safari camp or lodge in Amboseli National Park.
Day 2Amboseli - Tsavo West
Wake up to an early morning game drive, Breakfast, then depart from Amboseli National Park and drive through the Chyulu Hills to the Shetani Lava Flow where we will make a brief stop to marvel at the dried up lava before we drive to the Chyulu Gate, where you enter the Tsavo West and head to Mzima Springs - crystal-clear waters that are inhabited by hippos, lots of fishes and crocodiles. Leave Mzima Springs and enjoy game viewing as you head towards your lodge or camp for check-in and lunch. Afternoon is spent at leisure before we embark on game drive with a visit to the Rhino Sanctuary where we may see the endangered black rhino among other animals. Dinner and overnight at your safari camp or lodge in Tsavo West.
Day 3Tsavo West - Mombasa
Early morning Game drive, Breakfast, game drive on the way to the Tsavo River Gate. Depart from Tsavo West. Drive for around 200 km on the Mombasa Nairobi Road to Mombasa. Arrive in the afternoon. Drop-off at your Beach Hotel.
