7 Days Best of Kenya Safari: Aberdares, Samburu, Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara

Pick up from your Nairobi hotel in the morning and depart for Aberdares arriving with a short game drive at hotel in Nyeri. Check in and have lunch. Afternoon game drive across Aberdares park. Later dinner and overnight.

Early breakfast at your hotel, short game en-route, Leave Aberdare for Samburu arriving with a short game drive in time for lunch and check in at Lodge or Camp and have lunch and relax. Later afternoon game drive across the park, home to unique resident wildlife species like the Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy’s Zebra, Beisa Oryx and the Blue legged Somali Ostrich. Dinner and overnight.

Full day spent in Samburu with early morning and afternoon game drives in Samburu Game Reserve, which covers 40 square miles (104 square kilometers). Ololokwe Table Mountain forms a dramatic backdrop to our game viewing. Samburu is also home to the third of Kenya's giraffe species - the rare Reticulated Giraffe (only found in the Northern parks). This is also where you see the blue-legged Somali Ostrich, the long-necked Gerenuk gazelle and the straight-horned Beisa Oryx antelope. Dinner and overnight at your pre-booked safari lodge or camp in Samburu reserve.

Early breakfast, then leave Samburu with game viewing en route for Lake Nakuru arriving in time for lunch and check in at Lodge. Afternoon game drive around Lake Nakuru, often called the Pink Lake for its great masses of flamingos, looking out for the white and black rhinos found in this park. Dinner and overnight.

Early morning breakfast. After breakfast leave Lake Nakuru for Masai Mara arriving in time for lunch. Check in at Sentrim luxury tented camp and have lunch. Afternoon game drive through the park in search of the Lion, Cheetah, Elephant, Buffalo and a visit to Mara River. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge or luxury tented camp.

Full day spent exploring the Masai Mara in search of the Big Five. Optional early morning balloon safari or a tour of the Maasai Village can be arranged at an extra cost.

Early Morning breakfast at your camp check out of the camp and park and Drive to Nairobi arriving in time for lunch. Lunch at the Carnivore restaurant afterwards drop off at your respective hotel or Airport.
